OK..... Alright, its happening.. Full Role Play time... As it states in the first message, the Crew direction is towards realism and role-play.. A few of us in the Family have been really exploring this territory and it has breathed new life into GTA for us.. So i am going to come up with Family Content. This will be things such as Jobs, Heists, and other Created Scenarios. Teamwork oriented and Role-Play designed, the Family Content will be a blueprint for Mercanti Family members to use if they wish, to deepen their Crew experience.. A Mercanti Member can do as he/she pleases on their own, however when playing with Crew members should play in Role-Play and actively set the standard themselves. This is the direction we are going in. Mercanti Family Content: Gang Hit: A plan of action for attacking members of a Street Gang, eg The Ballas. Whack: A Mafia style hit on enamies of the Family. Racket: A Family operated Criminal Enterprise that can be actively worked by Family Members. These are ongoing tasks such as collecting street tax and pimping Escorts. Contract: A one time special Event, they are harder to find than Whack targets. A photograph of an Enemy of the family is circulated. Memorize his physique and face as the Target may be Dressed other than as pictured. Take a Snapmatic once you do the work.. The Member with the Most Contracts will Get a Special Title: Family Hitman. Contract is not completed without a Snapmatic. Contracts are open to anyone in the family as well as associated gangsters and hoods from other Crews looking for some extra work. Note: Actively working family business is the way to get promoted, Make sure that you take a Snapmatic to show you have completed the work you set out to do.. Eg take a photo of the Contract Victim so the Bosses have proof of your hard work, or take a photo of the unconscious Drug Dealer, gain your reputation. Members who actively put in work will be rewarded with ownership of Family Territory, Rackets or Businesses. How this will work: 1: Read this thread. 2: Choose a piece of Family Content. 3: Inform your Online Crew Members about the plan, in detail! Or do the job solo. 4: Carry out the plan. 5. Post your work on SocialClub. Key Ideas: Role-Play: Stay alive at all costs.Try it out, play like you have just one life. . it means pretending that GTA has game mechanics such as evidence, and investigators, and that that actions have consequences. It means driving on the road.. yes go through red lights but check for Cops first.. take it as far as you like. While playing solo you can do the rampage but at least act accordingly when with fellow Crew. Don't wait for others lead the way with Role-Play. Getaway Vehicle: Many Jobs will feature this. Essentially it is a vehicle of which you can use to escape a crime scene. A Crew Modded Car with Crew Badge is not a good Getaway Vehicle. A Vehicle taken from an empty Car park makes a great Getaway Vehicle as it would be some time before the owner reports it missing. Pedestrian Interaction: Some Jobs will state that you need to go up to a specific pedestrian and get a reaction, and based on their reaction you can handle the situation different ways.. e.g. approaching an Escort as part of the Midnight Escorts Racket: Walk (not run) into her for 2 seconds or as long ast it takes for them to make their reaction.. at that point she will either step back say something and run away, or she will say something and walk away. The trick with this is making sure you get a fresh reaction from the Pedestrian in question.. if you come screeching in on a Bati pulling up right next to them or have a weapon out, they will have a reaction to that first meaning that when you walk into them they do not have the same reactions as if you approach carefully, and then walk into them. It might seem complicated but its a simple thing to do in practice and is the key to getting the reactions that make sense in the Job, Eg: Escort Runs = She is holding back money from us = gets a whooping. Or: Escort walks = She paid us our due and is heading home. ___________________________________________________ this is just a tiny part of what i have brewing away in my mind.. Los Santos, its an open world and we can use our creativity to apply our own game mechanics to create something more resembling a Organized Crime Simulator.
